Knock Down

December 15th, 2011

Whenever I go hunting, I always invite my buddies to come with me. I would often have my brother with me during hunting trips, but since he got married he had been quite busy with his new life. I would always plan these trips at least once a month in order to get out of the city. It also gives me time off to do something I absolutely love, far different from my usual regimen where I need to come to work which I absolutely hate.

During these trips, I always take the Beeman air rifles which I have collected over the years. My buddies have just started out in this activity so I lend them some of my rifles to use. It never fails to knock down the game I eye for, and I never come home empty handed from a trip. A few rounds are all I need to get me some time to relax and get my mind off reality. This is the perfect chance to get away from it all.

Great Set Up

November 2nd, 2011

A Truck tent is a tent that is designed to be specifically set up in the bed of a pickup truck. This type of tent was invented in 1990 by Roman Napieraj, who is the founder of Napier Enterprises. For many years, campers had been constructing makeshift truck tents from conventional tents until the invention of the Truck tent. These tents provide the experience of camping outdoors but with the added protection and comfort of sleeping off the ground.

A Truck tent is similar to the look and function of a roof tent and sport utility vehicle tents. The obvious limitations of using a truck tent are that the campsite is limited to where the pickup truck can go, and that one must own a pickup truck to use one. Camping with truck tents is a growing movement among less extreme campers who still enjoy the outdoors. These campers prefer truck or SUV tents because they provide better protection from the elements, supply an instant and portable campsite, and also allow for increased packing space.
