RV campsites

You can also choose to “rough it out” in your RV. Having a vacation in RV campsites is like bringing along a smaller version of your home. You can travel in comfort and when you get to the site, there is no need to labor over pitching a tent. You will have the convenience of flowing water and with a mini kitchen in your camper, feeding a troop will not be a problem. Maybe, it’s not quite the same as ‘real camping’ but you have kids, remember? You cannot be too harsh in introducing them to the rigors of camping.

The success of a camping trip, whether you are staying in a travel lodge or in an RV depends of the amount of preparation and planning that was done before the trip. Be sure to check on your accommodations. If you are booking a lodge make sure that what you see in the pictures are what you will find when you get to the place. If you are going by RV, make sure that it is in good running condition and that the plumbing and cooking facilities are in order. And then, make plans for activities for the children. Children are always enthusiastic for new adventures; on the other hand they can also get easily bored. Be ready with something that they can do if the weather is not very cooperative and you are all forced to stay indoors.
